We caught up with Blue Bulls U21 flyhalf, Josh Stander fresh from their stunning Currie Cup victory over Western Province. Josh’s career is soaring to dizzy heights and 2015 will be his year to shine.
Are you on holiday? What have you been up to?
Yup, I am. I have been playing some golf, doing some training to keep fit and I have been seeing some old school mates. It’s been cool.
Give me 3 top memories?
They would have to be- Making my Currie Cup Debut, Playing in the Currie Cup final and winning the final at Newlands.
What are your goals for 2015?
To make my Super Rugby Debut and to play some more senior Currie Cup games.
What 3 things do you think it takes to be a successful rugby player?
I think you have to be disciplined , to outwork the people around you as well as yourself and to always be humble.

Definitely Daniel Carter
Rituals before a game?
HA HA nope, nothing
You guys look like a very close team, is it like that off the field?
Yup, we a very tight team on and off the field. It really creates a unique vibe in the team.
What are the differences between Queens Town and Pretoria?
There is a huge difference. Queens Town is like a small farm where as Pretoria is a huge city. Ha ha that is the best I can explain it.
If you has a super power what would it be?
It would probably be to fly around everywhere, that would be killer. Ha ha
