I was born in Paarl
Tell us a bit about what you like to do in your free time?
Whenever I manage to get some time off, I enjoy spending it with family, because to me it’s a key aspect in my life and my motivation. So I enjoy switching off by just being around them and having a bite to eat.
What is the most important advice you can offer younger players to help them reach their full potential in rugby?
To always work hard and be willing to take criticism and use it to your advantage because people will always have something to say, always try to set the moral high ground.
What’s your favourite rugby memory?
I’ve got two memories that will stay with me forever. My favourite rugby memory would definitely be winning Interschools against Paarl Gim after a 4 year losing streak, and most definitely the cherry on top was to be chosen for the SA SCHOOLS side. Thankfully
