Sharks captain, Tera Mtembu chats to us about his experiences of 2014 and his thoughts on 2015.
How did you first year of captaining go?
It went relatively well, and I say relatively well because there is always room for improvement. I enjoyed the challenges i had to face and the good times of course.
What do you think was the best part about being captain?
I think it would be being put under pressure and rising from that.
Which Captain have you looked up to the most during your rugby career?
I would say Keegan Daniel.
Who would be the person that you go to get advice?
I am always willing to learn so I will always ask around for advice from the people who have been there and done that but if I can mention a few names it would be Jacques Botes and John smit.
What are your goals for next year?
Try be a regular starter in Super Rugby and enjoy my rugby.
What are your December plans?
Going to recover from my knee injury and get fit to train with the team. For December I will be home spending lots of time with the family.
How is your knee feeling, how long are you out for?
The knee is getting there, was really sore in the beginning but now feels better. I will be out for 4 weeks.
All the best Tera for the holidays and for 2015.
Thanks guys you too.
